Our vacation home in Southern Vermont has everything you need for a memorable trip. It has a rustic feel with the natural wood walls and cathedral ceilings upstairs, and two fieldstone fireplaces, and a deck that wraps completely around the upper level. It is situated in a private and natural setting. Warm weather renters note - our sandy beach and dock at Lake Raponda is only a 10-minute walk through the woods and we have a canoe stored near the water available for your use.

Inside the house you will also find most of the luxuries of home such as two TVs with cable, two combination DVD players/VCRs with a good collection of movies, living room stereo with hook-up for your iPod or MP3 player, a second living room/family room, a dishwasher, washer & dryer, and much more.

This vacation property is real Vermont, real close. Our home is in a perfect location. Since it is only 2 ½ hours from Boston and 4 hours from NYC you’ll spend more of your precious vacation time at our house or on the mountain and less of it on the road. The home is available during the ski season, weekly during July and August, and for spring/fall weeks or weekends.

It is only a short drive from the house to Mount Snow or into “downtown” Wilmington. This postcard pretty small town has many unique and old-fashioned shops. There is something for everyone: homemade fudge, Vermont cheeses, old fashion toys, souvenirs, art galleries, a quilting shop, restaurants, and even a brewery to name a few. Just outside of the downtown area (even closer to our home) is a large grocery store.

Mount Snow, one of the premier ski/snowboard mountains in the East has just invested $6 million this year in updating the lodges and extensive new snowmaking equipment. But that is not all there is to do. Visit the links on our site to many local activities including tubing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, horse drawn sleigh rides etc.
